In the past, only fair skinned people could successfully
have unwanted hair removed with a laser. Cutera's breakthrough
technology allows us to treat a wide range of skin types,
for both men and women. We can remove unwanted hair from
virtually all body parts including legs, arms, face, underarms,
backs and bikini lines, lip area, chin and more. Treatable
areas are for both MEN and WOMEN.
Here is how the Cutera system works:
short pulses of laser light disable hundreds of unwanted
hair follicles in seconds. The laser/IPL handpiece is
cool, providing an extremely gentle, soothing and comfortable
treatment with long-lasting results. |

Typically
a full treatment course requires 3 to 6 treatments.
Laser Hair Removal can be done at
“lunchtime” without anesthesia. An optional “cool pack”
for topical application is all that is required to ease
skin tingling for the most sensitive client following
treatment.
Treatments are associated with mild discomfort, not
unlike a small rubber band snapping against skin. Treatments
do not require sedatives, pain medications, or injections
of local anesthetic.

specialist that will gather personal health information,
take note of your concerns and plan your treatment program.
If WE agree that you are a good candidate for good laser
results, the treatment can usually be performed that
day. . .
Your questions will be answered, pricing and payment
options will be explained.
Failure to keep that appointment without
calling ahead to cancel or reschedule not only detracts
from our day's schedule, but it also prevents other
patients wishing appointments from being seen on that
day.

What to Expect After Laser Hair
Removal Treatment:
- Avoid bathing or washing with very
hot water. Use tepid water. You may feel like you
have a mild or moderate sunburn. Minor crusting or
minor peeling of the surface layers of the skin is
not unusual. Hydrocortisone Cream and Aloe Vera Gel
may help with redness or inflammation of your skin.
- Keep the area clean. Wash gently.
- Avoid direct sun exposure after your
treatment. If you do go in the sun, protect the treated
area with a sunscreen of 30 SPF or higher.
- Do not shave the treated area for
at least 4 days after treatment. Do not wax, pluck,
or use depilatories for the hair that grows back.
After laser treatment, hair may continue to grow out
as if it were never treated. Typically, this will
occur for about 2 weeks then these hairs will simply
begin to fall out.
- Avoid any irritating medications or
chemicals, particularly on the face. Examples of these
are Retina-A, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, or
astringents.
